Silky tannins, long and well-balanced. Very fine. An elegant, feminine wine. A good example of Volnay. Finishes long, and close with subtle sweet notes of white pepper.
Pairs with light red meat or white meat dishes. Turkey and cranberry sauce, duck and strawberries, or roast chicken and honey roasted carrots and parsnips.
