(from a very large 1.21 ha parcel). Here the reduction is sufficiently pronounced to flatten the fruit and render it hard to evaluate. There is superb intensity and minerality to the beautifully well-delineated middle weight flavors that also possess plenty of that lovely underlying tension on the balanced and impressively persistent finish. As the best example of Latricières always are this is a wonderful combination off finesse and focused power. Terrific.   (1/2015)

Good dark red. Musky purple fruits and sexy soil tones on the scented nose, complicated by notes of coffee, mocha, licorice and rose petal. Then youthfully tight and juicy in the middle palate before expanding again on the extremely long, firm aftertaste, which leaves the mouth perfumed. (ST)   (1/2015)

Aromas of hot stones, mineral and dark fruits. Blueberries too. Full to medium body, firm tannins and a long finish. Savory, salty and delicious. Classy for the vintage. Better in 2017.   (6/2015)

Shows some muscle to the macerated cherry, earth and savory mineral flavors, with spice and licorice accents joining in on the finish. Needs a little time to reveal all the facets, but this remains long and intense. Best from 2018 through 2030.   (2/2016)

A beautiful balance of earthy and fruit, pour along side all roasted game poultry, mushroom and truffle dishes or a seared venison.
