This Bordeaux Blanc is marked by a complex aroma and flavor suggestive of limes, honeysuckle, mangoes, and pineapples. Carefully blended, the wine is dry yet full flavored, mineral and long on the finish.

The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc Ried Goldes displays a deep, spicy-aromatic bouquet of ripe peaches and yellow plums intermixed with vegetal and herbal aromas. Lush and elegant on the palate, this is a fruity, well-balanced and accessible Sauvignon from a warm, well-protected single vineyard shaped like a basin. The wine is aromatic and fresh and already drinks perfectly well. Good length.
Pale straw. Intense and pure aromas of fresh passion fruit, ripe melon and lime. Notes of dried herbs, lemongrass, mandarin and blackcurrant add pungency and intensity to the aromatics. Powerful, tight and elegant. This wine displays intense ripe fruit flavors of passion fruit and white peach, with citrus notes of lime and mandarin pith. The palate has intense concentration and generous weight, balanced by an underlying minerality and tight structure to shape a wine with lively tension and textural balance.
Ocean breezes bring a savory saline balance to the wine’s intense fruit character. Bright in color with gentile notes of green and light yellow. In the nose, it shows intensity with the expression of tropical fruits such as mango, pineapple and passion fruit. It is complimented by a soft citric sensation as well as spicy and floral notes, reminiscent of ginger and jasmine. In the mouth it shows a balanced acidity, viscosity and long complex finish.
The 2019 Ranceira Sauvignon Blanc is an exploration in what can be achieved with barrel fermentation of high-quality Sauvignon Blanc. The winemaking style gives the wine a mineral quality, a textured palate, and an ability to age for ten to twenty years and improve.
The fourth vintage of this late-harvest dessert wine from our Moose Valley Estate Vineyard, the 2016 Noble Block emits a captivating bouquet of orange blossom, wild honey and marzipan coupled with luscious tiers of tropical fruits, candied apricot and lemon meringue.
