This wine was aged 24 months in barriques (30% new, 70% used), 8 months in steel and 7 years in bottle before release.
I love the 2007 vintage in Barolo and this a beautiful late release showing lots of perfume, roses, tar and cedar. Full-bodied, yet tight and dense like a tightly knit ball. Very tannic yet polished and caressing. A fantastic red from a fantastic winery. Drink now or cellar for many years ahead.
