Aberlour A’Bunadh #61 Bottling Note
This is Aberlour’s 61st batch of A’Bunadh, and as usual, it’s drawn exclusively from Spanish Oloroso Sherry butts and bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration or additional colours.
Tasting Note
Nose: Brandy butter, chocolate gateau, robust cinnamon and honeycomb.
Palate: Layers of honey, tobacco and strawberry jam. Underlying warmth of yet more cinnamon and now clove.
Finish: Very long, with peppery oak, orange peel and dark chocolate truffle.
